‘The Copperplate Set’ a series of type that can be used to produce letters and documents in the style used in the 19th century. The set is divided into two families Copper and Classic with an extra font called Decor. The Copper faces are based on true copperplate hand writing as would be produced by using a split nib. Classic however is based on engraved text and has a more precise feel to it. Both families have many extras allowing decoration and florishes to be created or added. The Decor font finishes the set by adding instant headers and footers which are entered directly from the keyboard.
This is my new, completely worked over and fine-tuned Bodoni Classic for Europe (no Greek and Cyrillic). I have added a set of elegant Swashes (B) and 2 alternating uppercase swirly Initials (C) as well as two lowercase end-letters (D). The fonts A and B have extensive kerning, which the initials (C) don't need, they are aligned to replace the standard capital letter. The lowercase end-letters (D) are aligned to replace the standard lowercase letters, so you might need to add a blank after the swirl. For good measure I throw in an extra set of swings for 1 Dollar (E).

Designed by the renowned Robert Hunter Middleton of Chicago’s Ludlow Typograph Company, this “serifless roman” was first introduced in 1929.
Middleton has created a transitional face linking the traditional thick and thin serifs of the times with the new Futura and Kabel design imports. With its slightly flared main strokes, Stellar predates in many respects Hermann Zapf's Optima by thirty years. Highly effective where an elegant and warm feeling is desired.
This typeface is faithful to the original letterforms of the Stellar design. More…
