family of 2 fonts from Scholtz Fonts
Carve is an African font that was inspired by fonts such as Othello and Neuland designed in the mid-1920s. Rather than attempting to re-create these fonts in a digital form as so many others have done, I have tried to capture the “spirit†of the period and emphasize the “woodcarving†style of the font, while simultaneously giving it a contemporary feel.
